Court fees

How do u compute the court fees for a civil suit u/s 34, 38 of Specific relief act

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies how to calculate court fees for civil suits filed under Sections 34 and 38 of the Specific Relief Act. While a fixed fee of Rs 200 is suggested, it's noted that the market value of the property involved in the suit generally dictates the court fee. To provide a precise calculation, more specific details about the case would be necessary.

In response to your query,

The market value of the movable/immovable property included in the subject matter of the suit determines the Court fee in most civil cases. The market value of the portion in respect of which the suit has been launched, for example, will be considered to establish the Court fee in a suit for division. To answer your query more specifically proper facts about the case are required.

Regards,

Aryan Raj
