Court attendance in anticipatory bail in 498a

When a relative of a 498a accused is on anticipatory bail, is he expected to attend each and every court hearing UNTIL the chargesheet is filed? Or is it enough if only the main accused attend the hearings? (AB does not say anything about court attendance)

To get an anticipatory bail the accused person is need not to appear in the court, his lawyer can move. But bail is granted then the accused person  has to be appear when date fixed for trial court.

Dear Denomaria

before fileing the chargesheet in the case there is no procedure to appear before the court for hearing in criminal cases. the court's can use the power after filling chargesheet. after filling chargesheet before court and court taking cognizance the court issue summons to parties/accused and after that the procedure will be start.

dear

in your case all accused persons has been granted anticipatory bail. Accordingly each accused has to join police investigation. it simply means accused persons has to visit police stations and other places connecting with case, whenever it is required by police. before filing of chargesheet, no need to appear before court. do not panic.
