This is the law of creation. Also mentioned in Vedas.Like all humans, even universe is subject to birth and death. And all these yugas namely satyuga, dwapara yuga, treta yuga and kalyuga are a part of this divine plan.

Birth and death of universe is the awakening and sleeping of brahma.

I read in a book named "Buddhas explanation of the universe" that if all living beings attain enlightenment, they will be freed of birth and death,ie,sufferings, and wont take birth again. They will not have to suffer at the time when death of universe and earth happens, as they will be safe.

At the time when universe or earth(cant remember exactly) is coming to its end,it will be very hot, drought everywhere, sun will be too hot to bear and finally earth will be in flames. So those who have not attained enlightenment will die in this fire while enlightened ones will be safe

Yes , it is imagined in almost all Purans especially in Shrimadbhagavtam that "At the time when universe or earth(cant remember exactly) is coming to its end, it will be very hot, drought everywhere, sun will be too hot to bear and finally earth will be in flames. So those who have not attained enlightenment will die in this fire while enlightened ones will be safe"

it is cycle of creation and destruction . Every origin  is bound to end and re originate.

Ved Vyaas has said at one place in Shrimadbhagvatam that - the world as it is now, was earlier and will be in future also.

Thus nothing is new in the world. What ever is happening , had  happened in past and will happen again in future. Further, the man only discovers the already existing things and ideas. No idea is new. I am not saying any new thing. No one said any thing new.

Ashutosh Prabhu Aughad dani,

Lord Shiva is called Mahadev. Also a fascinating god.

Below is the article on Nataraj,

The Nataraj Statue at CERN, Geneva:

In 2004, a 2m statue of the dancing Shiva was unveiled at CERN, the European Center for Research in Particle Physics in Geneva. A special plaque next to the Shiva statue explains the significance of the metaphor of Shiva's cosmic dance with quotations from Capra: "Hundreds of years ago, Indian artists created visual images of dancing Shivas in a beautiful series of bronzes. In our time, physicists have used the most advanced technology to portray the patterns of the cosmic dance. The metaphor of the cosmic dance thus unifies ancient mythology, religious art and modern physics."

To sum up, here's an excerpt from a beautiful poem by Ruth Peel:

"The source of all movement,
Shiva's dance,
Gives rhythm to the universe.
He dances in evil places,
In sacred,
He creates and preserves,
Destroys and releases.

We are part of this dance
This eternal rhythm,
And woe to us if, blinded
By illusions,
We detach ourselves
From the dancing cosmos,
This universal harmony…"
