Correction in sale deed

Serial numbers in sale deed wrongly repeated. Like on page ended with 16, 17. and on next page started with again 16, 17 .It need to be corrected or not. Kindly suggest it effect my future deals.

Quick Summary
A sale deed has incorrect page numbering, with serial numbers repeating. While this might seem like a significant error, it's often considered a typographic mistake that doesn't necessarily invalidate the document or harm future transactions. However, if you wish to rectify it, both buyer and seller must apply for a correction at the sub-registrar's office where the deed was originally registered, providing supporting documents.

If either party has found an error in the sale deed, the buyer and the seller will have to make an appearance in the sub-registrar's office, where the deed was previously registered. They will have to submit an application to the official, seeking correction in the document, along with all the supporting documents.

Hello,

As per my opinion, page no. mistake can be considered as typograpic mistake. This mistake is not harmful and it can be ignored.
