Copyright for animation videos

Hello all,

I am trying to get some animation videos created by others. I will be making payment for these videos to the people who make these videos and later on add audio to these videos (do all the editing basically). I want to take copy rights for these videos as I am ordering for these videos and am going to make payment for them.

They are not my employees and I am just hiring them temporary to do this work on contract basis. They are doing this work on their own systems and then sending the files to me.

Can I take copy right for such videos?

If yes what will be the process?

Is there any document format in which I should take their written consent giving permission to take copyright? Please kindly post such document format here for reference.

Can individuals take copy rights or only companies can take it?

Please kindly help.

Thank you.

Ravi
