Cooperative residential society

Dear Sir's,

I am a resident of a C-operative society in Mumbai Maharashtra I have the following questions.

1) Managing Committee is 4  year old, there is Infighting among Committee members, can we call for elections if so when ?

2) Can we Co-opt new members in the Committe we have already Co-opted a member in current Committe.

3) What is the role of a Co-opt Member.
