Conveyance deed

Client is a joint shareholder of a registered flat. But conveyance deed is in possession of the other joint holder.

Who is entitled for the possession of the conveyance deed ?

In case of dispute, what can be done ?

Joint shareholder will not get any rights in the property, he should be a joint owner to the property purchased on both the names.

If he is the joint owner then he can obtain a certified copy of the registered conveyance deed with an endorsement that the original conveyance deed is held with the other joint owner and this endorsement may be notarised.
