Contract agreement for good character

My son is almost 18. He is a habitual liar and indulges into stealing money and valuable sometimes for his extreme desire for gadgets. Any amount of counselling is not helping in long term.

To contain his character, I would like to get into a contract with him.  In case he indulges into any further stealing or other nefarious activitives which are deemed to be serious in nature and against the law, I would like to disown him.

Hope a this contract will somewhat dissuade him further.

Would like to know how to proceed for this ? Is there any template available ? Are there any other and better suggestions ?

Dear Kallol,

The answer to your problem does not lies in getting signed an agreement with your son but to seek professional counselling and psychatric help from the qualified professional.

Best Regards

Try to take him in confidence with various means, If children are like that then responsibility is his parents.  It seems his upbringing is not proper.
