What if a electronic Company advertises something in the product and not give you that feature?

It amounts to misrepresentation and unfair trade practice. However, it is the practice of the advertisers to point out negative factors or caution in small letters in the advertisement. The consumers or viewers should take note of those points before proceeding against the Company.

Only the specifications included in the bill of sale and warranty card are applicable.

The proper way is to point out specific misleading representation direct to the company enclosing such copy of Advt and seeking a refund. This should be done at the earliest after purchase. Wait for the response and then file complaint in online website of consumer affairs dedicated to receiving such misleading advt and for taking action.. After all this if you have time file a simple complaint before District Consumer forum as a party in person and the expenses may not be more than Rs.200/- in all.
