Construction in gramakantam land

We have the gramakantamland in koppolu village, which is combined ancestral property. In recent time one of our family member started the construction of home in that land with out our concern. we have asked them to Construct house only after sharing the property.

But now they are telling that as no one doesn't have any documents, so this property belongs to them only.

My query / request is how to stop the construction activity in that place, and further how to proceed legally.

First fle a caveat petition informing them that any legal action they intend t take against you shall be informed to you in advance and after that with the evidences of the land belonging to you people, you can file a partition suit and a injunction petition along with it.
