Consideration

i am facing the case for my stolen cheque. how can i prove that cheque is unsupported by consideration. is there any case decided from supreme court.
can complainant add another similar case with the help of friend. .how can be clubbed these cases in single court.

There are multiple citations, unless a cheque is for payment of a debt/ liability, it can not be covered under S 138 of NI Act.

RBI notified that the validity period of cheques/drafts/pay orders/banker’s cheques reduced from 6 months to 3 months from 1st April 2012.

YOU can not simply say stolen , you have to prove it.

There are other defenses in cheque cases which you should explore  since power if defense is immense.
