Compounding with one accused ?

Hi Experts..

There are three accused in cheque bounce case (All were summoned), complianant and court are ready to compro with one accused and ready to exclude him from complaint on compounding ground and it is planned to countinue complaint against remaining two accused.

Is it possible..?

No, it's not possible to compromise with one accuse and continue the proceeding with others in a same offence.

No it is not possible. But then in the eventuality that there is a conviction, the accused who is willing to settle the matter can pay the amount due from his end and some additional amount and request the judge to not sentence him to any impriosnment. The judge might permit in case the complainant agrees as well.
