Compensation from bank

Sir, A branch of a  nationalised bank had partially freezed an SB account of a super senior citizen which is also his pension account, without any prior notice and any valid reason (without any court order and fully updated KYC) for more than three months. During this period the said branch had harassed this person in various ways that includes a cheque-bounce and pressurising to sign irrelevant documents.  What compensation should be claimed by that individual customer for such harassment?

Sir, I have given the full story.  The said branch forces him to open a duplicate SB account which is obviously not feasible. Also, no written communication regarding this demand has been obtained from this branch.
