Commercial use

Whether NOC is needed From the Housing. Society For Commercial Use of Residential Flat ?

Quick Summary
Using a residential flat for commercial purposes requires more than just a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your housing society. You must also obtain permission from the local civic body and pay a license fee to convert the property's usage. A residential society itself cannot legally grant an NOC for such a change of use.

Not onl;y NOC from society,  the member also has to obtain permisssion from the local civic body for converting the residential flat to the commerial one besides paying license fee.

A residential society cannot grant NOC for change of usage i.e, commercial purpose.
