Dear all,
In every state there is a Collector of Stamps who adjudicates the stamp duty or issues certificates relating to exemptions on stamp duty. I would like to enquire that Who is the Collector of Stamps in Bhiwani, Haryana? As in Delhi the SDM functions as Collector of Stamps and in Uttar Pradesh the ADM discharges the functions of the Collector. In Bhiwani, Haryana which official is authorised to do so and where is his office
Kindly advise.

Dear Varun,
Thanks for your advise. Are you sure that the DRO has power equivalent to SDM in Delhi? Can he issue certificate for exemption of stamp duty under certain government notifications. Kindly confirm if theres any doubt. If you are practicing in Bhiwani then we can meet and discuss the matter at length.
