Co-ownership / joint ownership in a property

I have a piece of residential plot in Chennai in my sole name.I have also constructed a house on this plot which is also in my sole name.I would like to make my wife as the joint owner/ co-owner of this property (plot +house).What is the procedure.Kindly advise.

Execute the settlement deed of 1/2 undivided share in your wife name.

After executing the above settlement deed you and your wife equally have right each 1/2.
