I have been staying at a rental house at Dombvli in Thane District in Maharashtra State with my family since last 36 years. Due to old age and ill health I have been staying with my son at his residence which is situated nearby. The Land Owner has the tendency of harassing the tenants by collecting money regularly by one way or the other in the name or mainentance or repairs. If at all the tenants are contributing to fulfill the requirement of the Landloard, whether such amount disbursed by the tenant be legally collected from the land loard ? Whether is there any Rule/Law that the tenant would have the legal right of the flat/property after a span of so and so years ??
