Claim settlement in FDs

There are two FDRs. In both the FDs a minor is nominee. In one fd Father of nominee is guardian, nd in second fd bua of minor is guardian. Now the account holder has expired. Pls tell me how to settle d claim?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to claim Fixed Deposit (FD) amounts when the nominee is a minor. The process involves submitting the account holder's death certificate and an application to the bank. The funds will be transferred directly to the minor nominee's account, with their legal guardian overseeing the process.

Dear querist,

As nominee are mentioned bank will handover / transfer the amount to nominee as provided in FD account. Nominee have to file applicatioon by annexing death certificate to bank for claming the FD amount.

Regards,
