Civil Trial-Rejoinder-Discovery of documents

Petitioner Files a civil case-Respondent submits the reply-The petitioner wants to submit a rejoinder-But since the reply of the respondent contains mention of a document in his (respondent’s) possession, the petitioner wants to have a copy of the said document

Queries

1.What is the maximum time in which a rejoinder can be filed by the Petitioner

2.Can the Petitioner request the court to direct the respondent to give a copy of the said document to the Petitioner

3.Can the Petitioner keep in abeyance, the filing of the rejoinder till the respondent gives a copy of the said document to the Petitioner? For how long?

4. What if the said document is in possession of a third person (and not the respondent) and the Petitioner.
