Quick Summary
A property owner received a settlement deed for their property in 2021, but their father is now demanding all rent and causing problems for tenants, including cutting off water. Despite reporting the issue to the police, no action has been taken, and the owner has been advised to pursue civil court. The father claims ownership due to paying corporation tax, even though the property is legally in his son's name. The son is seeking solutions for this ongoing dispute.

Show the settlement deed to a local prudent lawyer for proper appreciation of facts and professional advise before proceeding in the case, if required.

It is better to settle the issue(s) amicably.

Until and unless you initiate appropriate legal action to restrict your father you may not get any respite.

The lawyers or experts can only suggest you the steps to be taken in this regard but it is you who has to execute the suggested steps.

Any suggestion depends upon the terms of the settlement deed, of which the query is completely silent. Moreover, the query suggests deeper issues. Please post complete facts.
