T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate) 21 April 2026
For personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Child Care Leave (CCL) is governed by the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972 (Rule 43-C), because CISF is a Central Armed Police Force under the Union Government.
For CISF personnel, Child Care Leave (CCL) is not a separate CISF-specific scheme. It is governed by the Central Government leave rules, because CISF members are covered under Central Civil Services framework for leave matters.
Total leve entitlement is 730 days (2 years) during entire service. This is a lifetime cap, not per child.
Eligibility:
Female CISF employees
Single male CISF employees (widower / divorcee / unmarried)
Married male personnel are NOT eligible.
