AS PER LAW WHEN A BABY CHILD IS BORN HE NORMALLY STAYS WITH HIS MOTHER TILL 5 YRS OF AGE. SO AFTER HIS 5 YRS IF I FILE FOR THE CUSTODY OF THE CHILD CAN I GET IT . (CUSTODY MEANS EITHER FOREVER OR FOR 3 MOTNHS WITH ME, 3 MONTHS WITH MOTHER AND SO ON......). WILL THE COURT CONSIDER THIS PLEA OF A FATHER .
PLEASE ADVICE.

Not for 5 years, it is up to 7 years. Court consider your prayer. But mother is the best person to take care of child.

The only concept for deciding child custody matters is welfare of the child and age is of no consequence in general scenrio.
I disagree with the generalization that mother is the best person to take care of the child.

in many cases mother use kids as weapon against husbands. if u prove it in court then custody will given to you. ur not alone in this predicament. hopefully soon a sober realisation will dawn in the judicary.
