cheque deposit

I have given 20,000 rupees to a person for which he had promised to return in 3 months. He also gave me a cheque signed for the same amount without entering on the date. Now that person is not in contact and he changed his address and mobile number. What is the best procedure that I should follow to get back my amount? kindly advise.

Fill a date then present for collection.in case it goes un co;;ected, serve a notice by registered a/d post on the debtor drawer of cheque, calling him to pay within15days your out standing amount,in case it is returned back with endorsement that he is not at that address ,get the notice published in a newspaper having vide circulation, calling him to pay with in15days and after 15 days file a criminal complaint before chef judicial magistrate without delay.
