Police filed FIR 2021 on forgery and cheating related to property belonging to my wife by her uncle.my wifes uncle forged my late father in law signature and mortgaged same to bank and also while still in mortgage executed gift deed to his son. Police filed chargesheet but judge returned it saying to include bank as party in the case but till now police have not refiled chargesheet. Please provide legal suggestion on how to proceed to make police refile chargesheet

you file a writ under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for police inaction. you can also file a case for contempt of court against the officer in charge whome direction was given by the judicial magistrate for violation of the solemn order.

Is there a way to get official copy or document for reasons for chargesheet return? its been more than 4 month chargesheet was returned?
