Changeing surname

If i change my surname 'Dine' to 'Dinne' do i need to change my all certificates which have initial 'D'

dear Mr. D. venugopal,

wherever you have mentioned your name with initial "D. Venugopal", probably you do not have to change the name in such certificates.

However, to avoid identity crisis wherever you have mentioned full name as"Dene Venugopal", i would advise to change the name by way of making an application before appopriate govt. authorities and obtain certificate in this regard for change of name from govt. authortiies, etc.

This would help you to avoid identity crisis, wherever old name exists as the same can be resolved by submission of govt. certificate for change of name to the authorities. (generally as per govt. process, the activity complete within 30 days for change of name ).
