Changing religion only for the purpose of marrying again without giving divorce to your wife has been decried by the Supreme Court, and would not grant you an immunity cover from prosecution for bigamy.

you cant get rid of from your first marriage just by changing the religion all your liabilities will remain as it is towards that family,
