Cat case

Sir, In my case, I challenged a UPSC recommended candidate. He unwilling to join the post. I am the next candidate in the selection list. CAT ordered to send a representation to the respondents and directed them to dispose my representation within six weeks. Accordingly OA was disposed. As per recruitment rules, the recommended candidate was not joined, next candidate from reserve panel should be recommended. In this case, 1. whether UPSC having any ground to file appeal without recommend me?. 2. Can I file contempt of court, if they have not disposed my representation within the time frame?. 3. Which is a good move, filing contempt or approaching them via RTI & grievances, because filing contempt may delay the case further. Please guide me for my next best approach.

First of all submit the Recruitment Rules and OA, under proper acknowledgment.

Under Indian conditions, a simple thumb rule is not to rub the person or management on the wrongside unless conspicuous and glaring injustice is done to you willfully and blatantly. First of all, do not move the Court for Justice. Please represent to the management before opting for RTI, providing all the details with a request to consider your selection meeting the authority in person with a written representation and acknowledgement taken with an official seal.
