Case withdrawal

I have filed for alimony in Family Court 2 Month back, but I could not go and attend the last 3 hearing due to some personal reason,what will happen if I could not attend the case I filed. Judge will continue the case or she will close it due to my absence.

Hello,

Please tell us where was the cased filed. Usually the case will be on but on further absence might get dismissed for default. Visit the court and enquire about the current stage. Look on court website and check the status. It is advisable to engage an advocate to appear on your behalf.
