Car Damaged in Parking Area

Hello

This is Anurag , I will with my mother  and elder borther.

I would to know to procedure for filling a criminal complaint against my neighbor who has damaged mybrothers  car while it was parked in our parking area . This issue started last month while he brought a big mahindra  xylo car and parked next to my brothers car which a swift  . Since his car is big car he wanted us move our car further into my space so that he could freely open his driver side door . but we refused him because we have a pillar bulit in our parking area which support the 1st  floor flat and could portentially damaged our doors if we move our car futher and he did not listen to us and he shouted that if we did not listen to him he will damage the car and will beat my brother to death.

2 days back when we lifted our car cover and we saw big dents all around the car from the front , back and on both the sides. We are afraid now  and do not know what to do since the guy is a big shot and his father belongs to  politcal party . Please advice us how to take this issue to the police and also ensure that he does not harm us physically .

looking forward to your valueable replies.

Thanks

Mr. Anurag.

Rivalry without Harm is unexpectable, so you should forgive the damage instead of  louging an complaint against your neighbour. This might be very helpful for your feature relation ....

Amit: Wouldn't that mean to show a 'timidity' on Anurag's perspective? I am not talking about an 'ego' issue but I am only concerned whether this is going to give an 'undue' courage to Anurag's neighbors to unleash further reign of terror on him in the (near/far) future?

Dear Anurag,

You can approach the concerned police station to launch a complaint stating the entire story including the threat which that guy raised against your brother. I would say that you made a mistake by not complaining befor regarding the threat since that guy is a big shot. please keep in mind that you have to ask the receipt for your compaint at police station and if you feel the police not taking necessary action, you can forward the copy to the higher authorities inlcuidng SP, DGP etc. If that guy's father belongs to a political party, you can seek the help of media like news paper, t.v channels etc to strengthen the investigation.

Every papers regarding this issue should be filed which can be used in later stage if the police not taking any action, to file the private complaint before the Magistrate.

what i am advising is not to go behind since you have got the equal right to live in this country as that big shot guy. You should be very strong to handle it, each and every step to be publicised as to get the local support from public which will restrain that guy from doing any revenge.
