Cancellation of marriage certificate.

If one gets married in India (Dec 2005) and divorced (April 2007) in the US and gets a final divorce decree mentioning reason as 'Irreconcilable differences'. If the girl wants to marry in India, does she have to cancel her marriage certificate? or decree is the good document. I am told that no third person can challege a decree and the boy has already married (2010) in the US.

Please advice.
