Can will be conditional?

Dear all,

I want to know whether a will can have conditions. For example, can a person bequeth a piece of land in the name of beneficiary with a condition that the beneficiary can not sell the property for 3 three years from the date of testastor's death?

If I  insert this and other such conditions, can the will be regarded as valid and can can the court issue letter of probate/administration?

you can insert the condition in will with all the procedures followed then only will is valid and you have to mention why that condition is inserted
