CAN WE RE-DEPOSIT CHEQUE

Sir,

Can we re-deposit cheque whose return by banker of drawer with a remark of "ACCOUNT CLOSED"? Please update me with suitable judgement.

if cheque return with the reason "Account Closed" then you can not re-deposit the said cheque but why you want to re-deposit the cheque? issue notice u/s. 138.

you cannot present it for encashment,  if you prenset you are going to loose case to be filed under sectin 138 of NI Act

Re-deposit of cheque will not give you fresh limitation - Now you can only go for a civil remedy.
