can we oppose a factory which is planing to set up a ply factory which is very near to my house around 300 MTR

some individuals are trying to set up a ply factory at a place which is aound 300mtr away from my house, so can I oppose it , because it will pollute our environment, if possible pliz suggest me

Dear Queriest,

Any factory unit with high pollution capacity must be at least 1 km away from any human habitation, with the exception of APIIC IEs/IDAs. In the formulation units, all odour-causing compounds must be stored in a separate location on the premises. Other than the factory built-up area, the units must have at least 50-80 percent open space.

Therefore you can oppose construction of any such factory near your house within 1km of distance.
