Can we file review petition in the session court

Dear friends,

Kindly give your valuable thoughts regarding my queries.

Q1. Is Domestic Violence case come under criminal case or civil case ?

Q2. Or Before going to High Court, can we file review / revision petition in the Session Court.

Against its own order ?

Q3. Can we file review / revision petition in the both Civil or Criminal cases in session court?
