Can someone fraudulently impersonate you for divorce?

Lets say A and B's marrage was done grandly by their parents.
However, for marriage registration only friends were available as witnesses.

Now, if lets say after 2 years of marriage in laws start have horrible tiff with B,
even though things between A & B are doing great, its with the in laws that relationship has gone extreme sour.

Your in laws also have your real copy of adhar and marriage certificate though they claim to have lost the adhar card.
In midst of all this, you hear that they might be trying to forge your and your husband's signature (since they have boths' id n so they have signature ) and impersonate you both and have you divorced.. this can be a rumor or can that really happen? - fraudulent divorce through impersonation of both -
husband and wife - by in laws.. lets say they dont do it themselves but have some one else to do it as cleanly as possibleand pay them.. is it possible? This is just a doubt following rumours, they might be planning this ormight not be too.

It could be a paranoid question but I do have my own fears, so asking, can I or anyone fall victim to such a scenario?

Thank you.

1. Yes it is possible.

2. Such decree of divorce was allegedly  availed by the nephew of late V.P. Singh while marrying Amita Modi filing the MCD petition impersonating his wiffe .

3. Lodge a police complaint well in advance alleging that her inlaws are so threatening her about the said type of decree of divorce to be availed without her knowledge by filing the MCD petition duly forging her signature.

4. She should also mention that she has lost her Aadhar Card.

But now for filing a case the photograph of parties with their ID proofs like Pan card, Adhar card or election card is must. All records are computerised.
