can relatives file 498 ?

Hi ... can relatives file 498 .. with out wife concern... Can some body tell me what kind of evidence needed to file 498

I guess itr is not possible ...example she hit you with iron road. You dont make call to police , even if your neighbour call police , then police will inquire from you and if you says nothing i simply fell fown from stairs then police cant fo anything ...

second - one condition where inlaws mention that your wife is so scarred and in depression that she is not ready to come to police station also ...i guess police will take complaint and as usual without investigatin, ( they wont investigate at all as we all know) 498a will be filled .

No. Relatives cannot file 498a. Only a wife can file 498a. Even if relatives file such 498a, it needs wife's signature. Complainant should be wife, not relative of wife.
