Dear all its urgent pls.
My 498 A case is running in district.Till now only i received charged sheet for the same.i want to file quash/transfer petition under 498A in chandigarh high court..(My marriage happen at Uttrapradesh and myself from himachal pradesh and cruility happen at haridwar as per FIR.
Is this possible that i have got stay for the same.

file the quashing petition in Uttarakhand High Court only....P&H high court at Chandigarh is not having any jurisdiction over the matter.
as far as transfer of case to some other court of different jurisdiction is concerned its not possible in your case.
the law is clear on the point, the complaint is maintainable where the cruelty occurred and as per ur version it all happened in Haridwar.
