Can father sold property with out daughters consent.

My wife is only child of her parents. She marry me with out consent of her parents. Due to cast issue they never made any contact with us. Now her father sold his house and property with out my wife's consent. Her father got this property from her maternal aunt, as he was adopted child but no adaptation document taken from court. Now in this circumstance can my wife claim the property.
