Can court proceedings be audio/ video taped ?

Hi Learned Friends !

Just curious about whether Court Proceedings can be Audio / Video Taped.... those of the  " Public Courts " where the proceedings are in public anyways.

Any case Law/ Statutes on same ? And if allowed, what is the procedure ?

Look forward to all inputs

No, it will amount to contempt of court.
