Dear Esteemed members,
Can an American citizen who is also a PIO inherit agricultural land in India? Or if that agricultural land belongs to his father or mother, can that land be gifted to him through a gift deed even though he is an American citizen?
What are the rules and have they changed recently?

American citizen can not buy an agricultural land in India but certainly he can inherit it.
