Can a Person Back track from a statement given on oath in High Court. If so, then is he liable for Perjury or contempt of court? Or is there any other punishment? Kindly advise..
HC being court of record has inherent power to punish for its contempt suo motto and under contempt of court act also. For perjury you have additional remedy. apply under all.
