can a mhada property be relinquish?

I want a part of a mhada property on my name as in it is on the father's name and since I cannot have a co-ownership and wanted to add my name in the property too what all I can do? a relinquishment deed or a gift deed can be helpful?

As per your versions, the property is on your father's name.  Is it his self-acquired or ancestral? how many legal heirs are there? do you have any siblings?

it's a self acquired property and I do have a sibling

As it is the self-acquired property of your father, he can do it as he wishes.  He can gift it to anyone else.
