Can a chargesheet be filed if every accused isn�t arrested?

Hello, I would like to know whether the CBI can file a chargesheet after arresting someone if all the accused people against whom an FIR has been registered have not been arrested? Thanks

even in the absence of arrest the chargesheet can be filed

Yes chargesheet can be filed against arrested person and on the arrest of other accused person seperate chargesheet can be filed later on. Jaspal S Maini(Adv) 9999987283
