Buying property with a friend

Hello everyone,

A friend of mine and I want to jointly buy a home. We do not have a blood relationship. I am told that Indian Banks only offer home loans when the partners have a blood relation.

I also learnt that we can buy home in the name of a partnership firm. However, we both are employees at different firms.

Can we form a real estate brokerage firm and buy the property in the name of the firm? Will the bank consider our incomes from our current employment for the bank loan or the earning of the firm for the bank loan?

Thank you
