Buying agricultural land

hi,

im engineering professional from bangalore. as im intersted purchasing the agriculural land as i have under stood as per land reform act of 1961 only agricultarist can purchase agricultural land as my grand father was an agricultrist and the last property was sold between the year 1973-76.

can you please suggest me the requirements as my family income is greater than 2 lakh per anum also guide me in this regard.

from where i can get the land reforms act of 1961 is it revised?

You require old land record of the period of your grand-father and on that basis, you can very well purchase the land as desired. Your status shall also become of an agriculturist.
