Builder menace

My builder handed over me my apartment last month, when i checked the house there were many air cracks on the walls and on the corners of the house. when i asked the builder he simiply said "house has been handed over to you now and its your responsibility".

My question " is the builder not responsible for all these repairs which occur after handover of house ?" and how long is the builder responsible after handing over the house ?

if there are any rules please share the link or url

builder did not allow me to check the house when handing over the house to me

There may be a clause in the builder agreement that within 6 months from the date of handover the building, the builder is only responsible. This clause must be there in every builder agreement.
