Hi,
I am keen on property (Isha Casablanca by Isha Infrastructures) in Bellandur area, but the only concern is that builder is committing CC and not OC certificate. He is saying that I will help flat owners to get OC and there may be some charge (under 50k) but he is not committing that he will get it done himself.
Will it be ok to buy property with only CC? And what is the process of getting OC as individual if et all possible.

A. Occupancy Certificate is just like a Drivingl License, without DL you have no power to ride the bike, as such, that unless obtained OC you have no permission to occupy the premises or flat within the eyes of law.
B. In the event of any deviations in the building or violation of the approved building plan that the builder will not move to the BBMP to get the OC. However, deviation up to 15% may be allowed by imposing penalty within the discretionary power of the local authority.
