Buddhist sc status if married to general category christian

Will the SC status of a Buddhist woman change if she marries a guy from General category Christian.

Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that a Buddhist woman's Scheduled Caste (SC) status generally does not change if she marries someone from the General category, regardless of their religion. Her SC benefits remain unaffected. However, converting to Christianity would lead to the loss of SC status, as caste certificates are typically issued under the condition of adhering to Hindu, Sikh, or Buddhist faiths.

No, she can retain her original community status even if she is married to a general category person.

Thank you.

But it won't change even if she changes her religion?

Marriage does not change the status of community. However, you will lose SC status if opts to convert to Christianity.

But I have seen some verdicts of Supreme court where it states that caste by birth won't be changed even if a person opts to convert.

The cast certifiaate itself is issued on the condition tht the person is hindu/sikh/budhist.
