BTAL Act

Respected Members,

 

 

My Query is pertaining to Land laws applicable in Maharshtra specially BTAL Act.

 

A person sold his agriculture land by way of sale deed to another agriculturist and now that person do not hold any agriculture land on his own name as only land which he was holding is sold out to another agriculturist.

 

Whether this person can be classified as agriculturist?

Whether he can buy agriculture land in Maharshtra?

What will be hurdles in accordance of BTAL Act?

 

Please guide.

When he sold the land under "Registered Sale Deed", then as per the Section 43 of the said act, he has to  "Permanently give up" his Agricultural profession.

So in future he can't be classified as "Agriculturist".

Whether  indivisual person ( Non Agriculturiest) can able to buy agriculture land outside maharshtra as per prevailing laws so as to get a status of Agriculturiest and thenafter , can he is eligible to buy agriculture land in maharshtra ?
