Hi, I am planning to purchase a flat which has BRS approved by MCH in 1998 but the problem is that floor is mentioned incorrectly. The apartment has BRS approved for G+2+PH and the flat is in 3rd floor as per BRS, where as it is actually in 2nd floor of the apartment. This was not noticed until the bank pointed out when applied for loan. The SALE-DEED and all point that the flat is in 2nd floor.
I reached-out to GHMC and they say that this can be only corrected when the BRS is open. But few others say that this can correct it. Even I called GHMC call-centre and they say it can be corrected.
Could you please guide me with the procedure to correct it(if any)?
Will there be any legal issues or issues with GHMC after I purchase the flat?
Is there any hope for BRS to open in near future?
